Fees & FAQ
Will buyers pay more than the advertised ticket price?
No. If an event advertises a ticket for R150, the buyer pays R150 for that ticket. XaroTicket does not add its platform booking fee on top at checkout.
Who pays the XaroTicket fee?
The event organiser covers the XaroTicket fee. It is deducted from the organiser's ticket proceeds.
Do organisers see the fee before creating an event?
Yes. Organisers use the fee calculator before creating an event. It shows the buyer price, XaroTicket fee and estimated amount the organiser receives per ticket.
How are payouts shown?
Organizer order records show the amount paid by the buyer, the XaroTicket fee and the organiser's net proceeds so the calculation remains transparent.
Can ticket types have different prices?
Yes. General Admission, VIP and other ticket types can each have their own advertised price. The fee is calculated for each ticket price.
Are refunds included in the calculator?
The calculator is an estimate before refunds or other adjustments. Final settlement records should reflect completed sales and applicable adjustments.
Where can I read the legal terms?
